Description

2 piece dress made of fine silk broadcloth, printed with long, white leaf sprays on gray-blue ground.a) Bodice has close-fitting torso with front opening concealed by gathered fabric over the bust; slightly pointed natural waist. High standing collar, large leg-o-mutton sleeves with silver-gray satin bows behind each wrist. Boned and lined with brown sateen, floating in front and closed with pearl buttons.b) Skirt is bell-shaped, gored, with greater fullness in back; hem finished with double self frill and faced with heavy brown velveteen. Underlined with fairly thin brown cotton; narrow self waistband backed with heavy tape.
