Description

2-piece dress made of fine white striped muslin with dainty pink chine rosebud printed stripes. Bodice (a) - deep, round yoke made of plain pin-tucked muslin strips alternating with lace insertion and a standing collar to match. Yoke is bordered with deep self frill with lace insertion above hem. Long sleeves with fullness above wristband and deep frill cuff with band of lace insertion above hem. Pouf at the center front waist. Lined with white percale that floats in back with boned edge and hooks. Muslin layer closes with tiny pearl buttons. Bodice CF and CB, and sleeves, have full-length vertical pin-tucks. Skirt (b) - shaped to hips with tucks. Flares to hem, extending into slight train. Deep flounce from the knee with frilled heading finished at the hem with three tiers of narrow self frills.
