Description

Dress for a very small woman, entirely hand stitched, of printed cotton. Print is cylinder printed in purple, black and red with single blue-green “grounded in” by block. High waist, very narrow rib cage. Bodice cut on bias and set with stripe making neat chevron in front. Self collar with corded ribs enabling it to stand off the body. Very long sleeves full at top, tapering to wrist; short double epaulets and wide wrist bands forming a sort of 3-loop bow. Three rows of self frills at hem. CB opening with floating buttoned bodice lining. Dress back closes with white cloth-covered wire ring buttons, similar ones slip through thread loops on cuff bands. Edges trimmed with heavy white cotton decorative braid or gimp. b) Self belt edge with white braid
