Dress made of mohair cotton. Cotton consists of a MID weft, space-dyed (single fiber shades from one to the other) black on natural, and on a dark brown cotton (MID) warp, giving a fine striated effect like camlet. Coat sleeves with chevrons of black velvet ribbon suggesting cuffs. The center front opening has functional buttons. The buttons are a jewel type that has a glass ‘dewdrop’ center with a sparkly black sandpapery background. One button on each wrist. Loosely shaped bodice and no bones in lining darts. The lining is a brown drill. The waist comes just under the bust which suggests maternity wear. High round neck. Round waist.
