Description

Dress, entirely hand stitched, printed cotton having rainbow printed stripes in blue and green, grid or fancy cross checks in black, dark brown, brick, pink, lavender, blue and green. Gathered from shoulder to CF of dropped, rounded waist with shirring. Piped waist edge, gauffered skirt, hem faced with dark blue cotton; pocket of purplish cheap print in proper right side front seam. Front opening, V neck with hooks and eyes about 5” up. Floating lining of heavy unbleached muslin, hooks a bit farther up. One side retains basted cotton batting filler over breast on inside of lining. Dropped shoulders, long bias jockeys edged with ruched self-fabric; very long bias sleeves with generous ease gathers at elbow, and piped edge and placket, lined with purplish print. Bones removed from side front dart. Side seams and sleeve seams let out about 1/2” each side.
