Wedding dress, entirely hand stitched, of fine textured ivory silk, rather crepe-like. a) Simple but elegantly made in conservative style. Full unlined skirt of 6 straight 18.5” wide lengths, pleated at sides, tightly gathered in back, smooth in front, with hem faced with white cotton. Wide shallow neckline, round waist with a waistband, a tad high perhaps; with neat tucks at CF releasing fullness toward shoulders over the bust, gathered into shoulder seams. Back opening. Bodice has white polished cotton lining, floating in front with a narrow bone in CF. Sleeves have pleated fullness at top, tapered to wrist with piped placket edges. Shoulder, back, armscye and sleeve seams piped. b) matching pelerine with pointed front, piped edges and seams above a bias fold forming the hem.
