Cast iron teakettle patented in 1869 by Stephen Spoor of Phelps, NY. Square box body with side fins and a detached lid. A wrought-iron strap handle is attached to the spout and to the body. Rectangular lid has two fins projecting from the top and three circular holes. Roughly cast with sprue marks on the bottom and around the body.Collection
