Entirely hand-stitched Cossack pants made of white plain weave cotton with a widely spaced 3-thread pale yellow silk pinstripe. The torso front is pleated into the waistband which closes with 3 buttons. Narrow fall. Welted watch pocket. Side pockets with button flaps. Grooved bone buttons. One button per brace end, no tie or other waist adjustment in the back. High rise, the legs taper a little and may have come just to the ankles. No evidence of foot straps. Rather large stitches. This was for a very tall man.Collection
