Description

Small trunk originally covered in hide with brass fittings. Interior covered with paper printed in a small floral design and background of small circles and designs in red and either black or very dark green on an ecru background. Has a bail handle on exterior of top. Label is pasted on the interior of the dome top. Label with small border: "Howell & Son, Trunk and Band-Box Makers, at Their Manufactory, No. Washington-Street, and 29 State Street, Albany, Where the Public may be supplied with Trunks and Band-Boxes of the best quality, of every description and size, wholesale and retail. Country dealers supplied on reasonable terms. Also Trunks Repaired."
