Description

Fashion plate depicting three women and one man. The first woman is in a white ball gown with large, puffed sleeves and chevron detailing on the bodice. It has a pink border with flowers and a matching sash. She is adorned with roses from the top of her head to the bottom of her sash. The second woman is wearing a floral-printed dinner dress with wide, puffed sleeves, brown fur trim, and a green, diamond-patterned sash. On her head, a large black hat with pink ribbons and plumes. The third woman is wearing a green dress with thick black lapels and gigot sleeves. Around her shoulders, a multi-colored, lozenge patterned shawl. On her head, a large lingerie cap with pink ribbons. The man is wearing a floral-printed dressing gown with pink lining over a dark pink waistcoat. Above them, two drawings of elaborate coiffures and one of a lingerie cap. Only one of the heads with a coiffure is in color.
