Description

Voile dress made of white cotton. Long sleeves. Slightly blouson bodice with standing collar. Lace waistband. A-line skirt with 2 bands of wide tucks above the hem. Narrow tucks around hips, released at the knee. Coarse white embroidered zigzags form a meander border above tucks. Scattering of related bud shapes above that. The bodice has a center panel of horizontal pintucks forming a collar and narrowing as it reaches the waist. On either side are bretelles with 1” hem and filled with more embroidered meanders, extending over the shoulder in front and back, and narrowing to the waist. Triplets of cotton bobbles mark the inner edge of each bretelle on the front. Matching faux cuff of tucks on each sleeve. Concealed placket in the back with small MOP buttons.
