Description

Oval bodied teapot made of two pieces that have been bent together. Body has decorative raised bands at the top and bottom. Oval bottom, oval top, and oval opening that has short raised sides to fit with lid (missing). Spout is long, soldered to the sides almost at the base and it extends beyond the top of the pot. Applied handle is flat tin with rounded sides. Tin is bent into a ridge at the top of the handle as a thumb rest and the underside of the handle has an extra piece of tin to fit the grip of a hand.
