Description

Entirely hand stitched white cotton. Very high waistline, open down back, short sleeves, raglan seam. Bodice embellished with tiny vertical tucks, CF, adjoined by rows of minute vandykes. Similar unit on angle on either side. Sleeves and hem edged with matching vandykes above and below band of 8 horizontal pintucks. Waistline formed of Ayrshire insertion casing to receive colored ribbon ties. Tiny casings in neckline with fine braid strings to tie inside CF and at CB. Vandykes all down each back opening edge.
