Doll dress, entirely hand stitched of dark chocolate brown self-striped taffeta, pieced. a) dress with ‘coat’ sleeves, front opening bodice with skirt pleated onto a waistband around to the back where it is gathered. Tiny thread ball buttons, decorative. Bodice lined with cap dimity. b) Overskirt smooth over front and longer, and more fully gathered in back; edged with tan-brown silk fringed braid which also outlines ‘cuffs’ on the sleeves.Collection
