Lady's shirtwaist made with a dark black cotton fabric. Entirely machine-stitched. Both CF panels and down CB center panel are sewn rows of pin tucks, with a zig-zag row of vertical embroidery in between each row. CF closure of hidden button placket - black celluloid buttons.
Shirtwaist is set into a waistband that would be tucked into waistband of skirt. Long full sleeves set in shoulder line with small gathers and slightest of puffs. Sleeves gathered into wrist band which buttons. Sleeves have volume and bend below elbow.
Unlined. High round neckline with buttonholes for removeable collar.
