Description

Entirely hand-stitched dress made of tan printed cotton with brown stippled cylinder printed leaves. Slightly pointed bodice with robing of self-frills. Full sleeves with shirring at upper arm and wrist, piped edges and seam. Intended to be pushed up so as to bulge at the arm. Back hook / eye closure. Ankle length, moderately full skirt gathered almost to center. 2 deep tucks near faced hem. This stylish dress must have been worn by a little girl brought up with tight lacing because of how small the waist is.
