Description

Entirely hand-stitched bodice made of olive gold silk taffeta. The bodice has a high neckline. Gathers from shoulder brought to center front pointed waist, and retained with 4 rows of shirring. Center back opening with flat brass hooks and eyes. Long straight sleeves with self-binding. Piped armscyes and neckline; bones in back, center front; none in casings. 9 1-2” from center front neckline to center front waistline. Capelet has high piped neckline and piped shoulder seams. Bottom edged with matching 1” fringed silk braid. Lined with tan PW cotton. Capelet has a few spots on the front and back.
