Entirely machine-stitched waistcoat made of white cotton Pique Marseilles. Fabric is weave pattern of a large plaid - making this waistcoat most likely from the 1860s. Single-breasted. Closure with removable buttons (5). All buttons missing from eyelets. Three welted pockets, slightly slanted. The center front is slightly pointed with small double point in front. Cotton backing and lining with two buckle straps in back. Notched shawl (not a true notched lapel as it is made of one piece).Collection
