Description

Entirely hand-stitched boy's trousers made of dark-ground block-printed calico with 3 blue selvage threads. Straight legs with 2" band (each one is pieced) added to bottoms. High rise; 3-self-covered button waist. Pocket in proper right at the bottom of the waistband. Wide fall faced with what is probably handwoven cotton / linen, some of it is blue-striped. Full bottom. One front button was replaced with a simple die-stamped pewter button. Stitching is not done with the greatest finesse.
