G2008.037Description
Girl’s bonnet made on a wired buckram foundation, made of yellow satin, the brim covered with joined bands of artfully folded yellow satin ribbon with fancy-woven lacy edges, backed with yellow gauze; partially lined with fine silk tailored to fit. No ties. There is a thin 6” long, 1/4” white silk ribbon tie stitched inside the brim at the top, one at the side, and presumably another missing on the other side, purpose unknown. The form flares fairly wide around the face and is a tad high at the center front.Collection
