First wears what I think is high-end livery, a blue morning coat with long tails and plenty of gold braid, over brown breeches, top hat with wide band. He carries a cloak, perhaps, over one arm. The lad grasps his hand, wearing a dark green cape over black pantaloons, carrying a peasant hat. Second man is in full dress, black tailcoat and pantaloons with patterned white long waistcoat and cravat. Piano in background and third man is seated, wearing a plum colored patterned dressing gown, to the floor, cord ties. Smoking cap. Fourth wears a black frock coat with short rounded collar close to neck, short and narrow lapels. Blue and black large-scale check or plaid pantaloons. Fifth wears a paletot with wide neck opening and wide round lapels, cord and frog closure, cord edging, over 3-color plaid pantaloons.Collection
