Description

Table clamp metal apple peeler. Five gears total, four vertical gears. Largest gear has a star pattern with lines on the arms of the star. Horizontal gear has a gear cap with an inscription reading, "MADE ONLY BY THE READING HARDWARE CO *READING PA* PATENTED MAY 5. 1868 MAY 31 1875 OCT. 19 1875 NOV. 14.1875 MAY 22.1877, 78 U.S.A.". Side of gear cap is decorated with designs and holes. Has a wooden side crank. Called “The 78”.
