Description

One small, footed, hand-painted Chinese export porcelain dish. The body is a grayish-white with only a very slight orange peel texture. The decoration is blue and white Canton style. The body has a shallow bowl shape with a short, footed base. The inside of the dish has a small blue floral sprig in the center and several borders of blue hatch marks and scallops - typical of the style. The underside of the dish is painted with a landscape featuring a pergola, rocks, trees, water, a boat, etc.
