"Made of smooth, lustrous white feathers with soft taupe ones accenting the edges. (Karen Augusta identified them as grebe feathers*). May or may not be teen-sized. A superb, elegant goody.*Maybe Eared Grebe? see below1. Small muff lined with lavender-gray silk; no cords or pockets worked into it. 2. pair of cuffs lined with ivory China silk, hand stitched. 3. narrow scarf symmetrically closed in front near the throat, secured by a silk cord looped over a pair of net-covered silk thread dome buttons. The ends have as ‘fringe’ darker wing tips. Lined with ivory China silk, hand stitched. "
