Description

Silk plush top hat with 6 3/4” high crown, very slightly tapered inward toward brim at side, and outward from front. Brim is slightly curved and lined with black silk; narrow edge finished with black grosgrain ribbon; narrow same hatband with discreet bow, both ends together. Oil cloth [?!} sweatband with silk ribbon tie. Cheesecloth on paper lining; top is paper printed with elaborate cartouche on fancy diapered ground, LOGUE 1706 & 1736 MARKET STREET PHILADELPHIA stamped in gold. 0
