Child or infant's coat. Fawn-colored cotton outer fabric, with natural blonde glazed cotton lining. Entirely hand-stitched. Long sleeves, straight, set in to back of coat rather than sleeve cap. Long body of coat is set into a shoulder yoke, with deep knife pleats across front and back. Collar has been either removed from coat by cutting, or never attached at all. Seam down CB of coat. No buttons, or hooks or eyes present for closure. Soutache braiding applied to sleeve ends of each sleeve, same pattern as capelet 2024.25.033. Both pieces look as through they were meant to be together (coat with capelet over top), but the cotton fabric are two different colors.Collection
