Description

Partly machine-stitched and hand-stitched lady's pantaloons made of cotton. The printed design is considered 'mille fleur' which is an ivy and flower pattern. The waistband is cut of the same fabric. Stripes of border design printed on cotton down each side seam of pantaloon legs which consists of cabbage roses design flanked by two stripes of white linework. The pantaloon legs are full to the end, extending some distance above the ankle. The crotch is set very low or the pantaloon's legs end very high. Dyed vegetable ivory buttons on either leg end. Buttonholes across the top waistband on either side - five on each side. Buttonholes on the waistband are finished quickly by hand and not neatly. Full volume at the back, while the front is less full. Both front and are set into the waistband rather sloppily. Unlined.
