The velvet is gently gathered over the front edge and more forms a stiffened drape across the front beneath the rim, with coarse white lace sandwiched between. A frill of black lace stands up behind the front velvet and also forms a bow and streamers with black taffeta ribbon in the back. Wide, long black taffeta ribbon ties. No lining
