Kerchief, brocaded cotton Square, small ‘shawl’ of plain-weave muslin with brocaded pattern, a border of dasiylike flowers within narrow trellis bands, and cherry sprigs [?] in rows across the field. Double scalloped edges finished with fine buttonhole stitch. Initialled “B - B” in tiny pink cross stitches in one corner. About 48” square. From same source as 2005.073 Maybe this is another example of the Paisley gauze - brocading mastery.Collection
