Description

The date was cut off almost completely. First: back view of liveried servant in breeches and slippers. Second, a finger-length black cape with rounded lapels worn with bold blue plaid pantaloons. Third, black frock coat with satin lapels over a maroon waistcoat. Shirt with pleated bosom, black cravat, and brown banded pantaloons. Fourth, boxy black coat with bold blue and black collar, cuffs, and lapels. Worn over tailcoat with blue waistcoat and gray pantaloons with wide plaid panel down the outside seam of the pantaloons. Fifth, back view of a tailcoat, black pantaloons. Sixth, dpuble breasted, brown boxy coat with breast pocket and side slit pockets worn over green, gray and black bold striped pantaloons.
