Description

Young woman's cotton chemise. Short - possibly for either a short woman or a young woman/teen. Plain weave cotton, with machined-embroidery tape at arm opening, neckline, and down center front vertical panel between rows of ruching. Center front panel of tape and ruching. Center front opening of buttons - two mixed buttons came with chemise. The name "J. Sabine" is hidden in CF opening placket strip, written nicely in ink. Gores under arms. Machine-sewn throughout
