Description

One photograph album covered in blue velvet, late 19th century. Eighteen heavy cardboard pages with many photographs of men, women and children. Most have identification of Rochester, NY photographers such as Wm. G. Morthorst, C.J.A. Davis, "Godfrey" of Sunbeam Gallery, A. L. Lehnkering, Taylor Photographer, "Schaefer" of Sunbeam Gallery, and J. N. Heberger. Several photographs bear the photographer's name "Sympson" of "Carthage, ILL." Also several printed death notices are included: "Robert Heffer, died August 16, 1892, aged 80 years" and "Sophia Heffer, died March 31, 1891, aged 70 years". These were printed by Wolford & Company, of Main Cor. North Avenue, Rochester, NY.
