Equally hand-stitched and machine-stitched girl's bodice made of printed silk with a pattern of diamonds. The design is a cluster of flowers in the center, and a dot and dash pattern between the large diamonds. The ground is black, the diamond, dots, and dashes are striped in several shades of brown, and the flowers are green, beige, and pinkish red. The bodice has small cap sleeves with the fabric loosely gathered to create puffiness (although this has flattened over time). A thin pink braided trim added to the ruffles, the tops of the sleeves, and it highlights the plain, curved neckline. The main body of the bodice has vertical pleats. Lined with brown cotton, and has hooks and eyes closure.Category
