Description

Entirely hand-stitched bodice made of cotton. Pattern consists of a white ground and two printed stripes. One stripe, in brown and blue, with a very delicate light and dark brown foliage design. Large solid blue flowers decorate throughout these areas. The second stripe is more narrow and is smaller in scale, but printed with heavier lines and bolder colors such as dark and light brown, green, pink, and red. The pattern is tightly packed with florals and paisley-esque design. The bodice has short sleeves with a scalloped edge, and the body of the piece has two bands of the fabric from the shoulders crossing to the center of the chest. It is lined with white cotton Hooks and eye closures.
