One photograph reported to be DeLancy Stow and his dog Dan, standing by his insurance office (now at the museum), in Clyde, NY. The cardboard matting is signed with pencil in the corner: "Meade 1934." There is a photocopy in the building research files of the image (cropped), which had been printed in an unidentified book, and it dates the picture to 1910. It appears, then, that our copy was a reprint from 1934.Collection
