One photographic print mounted on a decorative cardboard mat. The subjects, according to a pasted label on the front and an ink inscription on the back, are the Reverend and the Reverend Mrs. Beck. "Mrs. Beck was pastor of the Methodist Protestant Church at Brooks Grove." Mr. Beck is wearing a dark suit and bow tie, and Mrs. Beck is wearing a white dress. They are standing next to a tree in a wooded setting. This was taken during the 1816 Brooks Grove Church Sunday School picnic.One of the other prints has the same matting and the photographer is identified as Edward Poste, so this one is also attributed to him.Collection
