Description

One stereograph of Michelangelo's "Moses" at the tomb of Pope Julius II in Rome at St. Peter's Basilica. The photographs feature a close detail of Moses and a little of the surrounding tomb. The photographs are mounted on white cardboard that is printed with "ENRICO VERZASCHI." M.F.H. has written the title on the front and a long description on the back, along with the date: "Aug, 2, '75." M. F. H. took a European tour in July and August of 1875, traveling from Belgium to Switzerland, Italy, France, England and Scotland.
