One framed photographic print of the Pratt family. The background looks to be a studio background. There is a painted wall, and a long drape to the left that has a long cord and tassel hanging from it. There is some baseboard molding visible on the lower right side of the photo. The people in the front row are sitting on a bench of some sort and the back row is standing. There are adults and children in the photo. Algernon Sidney Pratt is the man in the front row center. There is some yellow hand coloring to the dresses of two women in the back row. Someone has taken a pen and colored in some of the hair and facial hair of the people.
The frame is original to this photograph. It has a molded edge that is painted a drab gold, and curved inner lining that is faux grained and has a pattern cut into in (white colored), and the innermost lining is a plain gold band.Collection
