Description

Entirely hand-stitched man’s shirt made of cotton. Printed with a pattern of light and medium gray honeycomb stripe alternating with a row of simple 'stacked' black outline buta or treelike figures. Square cut. Deep side vents without gussets, selvage to selvage width. Shallow back yoke. Very full sleeves gathered all around the top and sides, with skimpy, twisted underarm gusset. The sleeve gathered into a 2” band with a buttonhole and white China button at the base. The side back shoulder area is reinforced with white heavy cotton which also lines the yoke. The side fronts are faced with self-fabric, slightly gathered where the shoulder seam meats neck seam, but it is pulling away (no neck gusset). The bosom has wide pleats with coarse stitching across the bottom. 4 white China buttons. Cylinder printed
