Pocketbook, ivory silk edged with stiff silver cord extending at the point of the flap into a 16.5” loop. Edges bordered with a green wavy vine with tiny leaves. Back has embroidered image of a memorial urn set in a grassy field near a sapling, with an oval cartouche leaned against an urn, bearing the initials CP. Front has an abstract basket containing a bouquet of freesias (?), forget me nots and berries. It is either incomplete or worn since the pencil design shows in places. The inside has two compartments, all lined in emerald, green silk.Collection
