Entirely hand-stitched child's silk check dress with a dropped-waist. Slightly bent sleeves; tight tubes without cap. Sleeves have turn-up cuffs with machine-lace trim at cuff and hem of dress. Two horizontal tiers of ruffle are stitched to hem and cut on bias. Attachments are all hand-sewn. High round neckline finished with small pipping. Pocket on right hand side of dress in seam; dress has "princess seams" 11 Rounded metal buttons; painted blue; missing two buttons. Buttons function as CB closure to dress. Dress and sleeves are lined with glazed cotton. Bottom ruffle is stiffened with horsehair gauze.Collection
