Lady's stole made of mixed lace types - applique on net. Ground is machined-net in diamond, punctuated across the net by small machined circles or rings. Edges and ends of stole are trimmed, most likely later in its life, with machined bobbin lace, with machined-applique applied on either end of the stole. Netting is cut out in sections of the applique. Machined net with machine-embroidered circles mostly likely made early in 19th century, while appliqué and edging was applied turn of the 20th century.Collection
