Elderly gentleman seated next to a table with two books. He wears a black wool cassimere frock coat, white dress shirt with upturned collar, black silk bowtie cravat. Unable to see waistcoat. Black wool trousers. This gentleman wears clothing of fine quality, if not a bit older in styling. Very 1850s, but he is imaged in the 1860. Most likely the husband of the elderly woman next to him.Collection
