Young girl in her first "big girl" full length dress. Silk taffeta with black velvet striped across the third quarter of her skirt. Dress may be full length, but bodice is not structured or boned. It yet retains an "infant waist" with pleating across the breast. Wide low neckline yoked. Short sleeves terminate in what looks like self scalloped edges. She is holding a rose in her left hand. Hair is center parted and styled into loose ringlets that fall on either side of her head. Skirt is set into waist with knife pleats with fullness all the way around.Collection
