Young woman in fine wool or silk gown, shoulders cut just below natural line. CF opening, trimmed or filled in with satin bows of both a dark and light color. The beginning of the stand collars of the 1880s. CF pin of what looks like a silver or gold cast twig - very particular in taste. Hair is CF parting and pulled back away from face. Small gathering in back, with added hair braid at crown. Latticed comb sunk into crown braiding, most likely tortoiseshellCollection
