Description

A heavy molded and white glazed ironstone mold for gelatins and jellies. The oval shaped mold has a deeply Scalloped rim with straight sided flutes descending into the well. The exterior of the mold is then stepped in to a flat band, thence to a diminishing band to a flat, unfooted glazed base. The interior is heavily glazed with white glaze. The fluted sides terminate in a scalloped ridge, thence to a deeply indented well. The well is molded with a four diamond pointed side element, thence to an ocean swirl wtih three wells, two convex, the center one concave.
