Description

Parasol, 39” long total. Turned wood shaft with joint covered with 3” repousse brass joint cover. Handle composed of 2 painted balls between 1/2” repousse brass bands. Turned ivory end with ivory ring through its hole. Matching ivory ferrule with ball on top. 1” brass slider and raw steel stretchers and baleen ribs. Brown cotton cover with 2” floral border printed in lighter brown (or fugitive pink?). Pewter or tin tips.
