Description

Cravat made of ivory silk taffeta, entirely hand stitched. The base is a bias band of silk wrapped over a heavy linen core with tapered ends, that encircles the neck twice. One end slips through a prepared slit in the opposite end to allow a neat crossover at the back. The ends meet in front where an elastic loop slips over a white China button on an elastic band. This is concealed beneath the large faux bow whose knot is padded with a bit of cotton wadding.
