Description

Entirely machine-stitched over or outer skirt made of very sheer muslin cotton. The skirt gathers in three rows at the hip across the waist. Hem has flounced self-fabric gathered three times, with 1 gathered tuck above this panel. The very bottom of the hem has three tucks, all flat. This was most likely worn with a matching bodice and with a simple plain white petticoat beneath for modesty.
