Mostly machine-stitched 2-piece dress made of burnt gold silk satin fabric. The internal seams are neatly finished by hand.
Bodice (a) - square neckline that is missing a detail--stitches remain. The sleeves are stylized with diamond cutouts down long narrow sleeves. Sleeves end with metallic crochet frill and are slightly bent at the elbow. The bodice is lined and completed with a striped red, dark, and cream cotton sateen fabric. Waist tape in the bodice with hook and eye closure. The center front closure of the bodice with buttons, all buttonhole machined, with two-piece floral buttons.
Skirt (b) - flat panels around the center front and side hips, with two folds at the center back knife pleats. Hook and eye closure. The skirt is unlined but has a hem about two inches deep.Collection
